14 Adar-2 5776

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you and may your name be praised for ever and ever.

Thank you for giving me life today, for blessing me with one more chance to spend time with those I love and to be your light to the world.  May you fill me with your truth, your wisdom, your love, and your blessings all the days of my life, and may I never lose sight of your face for all eternity.

Father, Thank for reminding us on this day of Purim the mighty miracles you have given, and have promised to give to your children.  On this day, you have taught us that deliverance and salvation comes through you, and no matter how bad our situation is, we can always trust in you to save us and to bring us closer to you.  Even in captivity you have taught us that we are a special treasure to you, and that you have set us apart from the non-believers of the world and have provided us a space to continue to be your children in the midst of slavery.  Father, I pray you grant me strength like you did Hadassah and Mordechai.  I pray that you allow me to continue to follow you, even in face of destruction, and have that same unwavering faith as your children had in Babylon.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who brought us out of bondage stronger and more secure in you.

Amen!
