Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, and this new month. Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. May all my thoughts and actions bring glory to your name, and may you have mercy on my soul for those sins I may commit.
Father, please help those who are today, without parents, without loved ones, without a home and living in slavery. Please watch over them and guard them. Please deliver them from their captors and return them to your glory. Father, please save the innocent for they are yours.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who brings us months and seasons.
