Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for your generous mercies and for forgiving me my shortcomings. Please help me become a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife and a better father to my children. Please bless me with your healing touch and clear out my lungs. Please remove this sickness from me and bring me rest from this misery. Your love is the miracle that cures all wounds and heals all ailments. Please help me Lord, my faith is in you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who heals his children.
