Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love, and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for bringing Kim into my life and for the blessing of 3 fine sons, your blessings are truly appreciated. Thank you for providing me with all my daily needs, and with a job so that I may provide for my family.
Thank you for redeeming me from the guilt of my sin, and for delivering me from the bondage of my flesh. Thank you for showing me how to live a life filled with love and peace. Thank you for making my waters still and for the gift of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for being there for me and for protecting me during my time here on earth.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
