Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for blessing me with a family full of love and support, a family that is always there for one another. Thank you for all the gifts that I have been given in this world, my cup certainly overflows. Please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and show your love. Please place within me a heart filled with mercy so that I'm forgiving with others as you have been with me. Please guard me and protect me from evil.
Father, I pray you watch over our sons during our journey, please guard them and protect them from evil. Place within them a discerning heart so they may make good decisions while we are gone. Please guide them in their paths and keep them safe.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, who protects his children and who guards us from evil.
