Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, I pray that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word today and to show your love. May my mercies be generous and quick, and may my heart let go of all adversity. Please guide me along your narrow path and make my waters still and may your peace surround me all the days of my life. Father, thank you for blessing me with a family that is full of love for you and love for each other. Thank you for bringing Kim into my life, for she has led me to you, and to your son, who saved me through his sacrifice.
Father, you are the one true living God who delivered our ancestors from the bondage of slavery in Egypt, to the promise of life in a land filled with milk and honey. You are the one true living God who freed us through a mighty arm and awesome wonders. You are the one true living God who created the heavens above, the earth below, and all this is within. You are the Lord of Hosts and the King of Kings. Without you we are but lumps of clay living in a world filled with chaos, but with you, we are molded into your image, filled with your righteousness, your love, your peace, your joy, your patience, and your mercies. You bless us with all the joy and comforts of our lives, and all you ask of us is to remember you, to love you, and to love each other. Glory glory glory to you my Father in Heaven, for the heavens are your throne and the earth is your footstool. You are our God and we are your people.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, who delivers his people from bondage to freedom, from curses to blessings, from death to life.
