Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word, in your truth. I pray that every thought I think, every word I speak, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name. I ask that you keep me from doing evil against you and against my fellow man, I ask that you drive temptation from my life. Father, I pray that you continue to keep your hedge of protection over me, my family, and my home; and I pray that your Holy Spirit never leaves us and that you dwell in our house forever.
Father, I pray you grant mercy on this nation, and forgive us of our sins. I ask that you drive the Adversary out of our midst and unite and bless this nation. Father, I pray for the day when you remove the scales from the eyes of the unbelievers so they may see that we are all your children, so they can see that the color of the skin doesn't matter, but the character of the soul is everything. Please turn the hearts of the people away from evil and allow them to see the beauty of your glory. Deliver us my Lord from the bondage of evil and division, and unite us under your name. May all of us bend the knee and speak the words, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."
Blessed are you O Lord our God who delivers us from evil with an outstretched arm and a mighty hand.
