Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for waking me this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk your word and to spread your love in all that I think, all that I speak, and all that I do. May every step I take bring honor and glory to your name. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit at our Bible Study last night. I truly felt your presence, and you led our study in your truth and in your love. All glory to you my Lord, you are our salvation.
Father, I pray for the all the people of this world who are mourning the loss of those they love. We are here but for a short season. The grass grows and then it withers away, as do our lives. I pray that you comfort those people who are left here, and embrace those souls whom you have called home to you. Father, please be merciful to the people for they just do not know your strength and your righteousness. The people have been led astray by false religions and wicked rulers, but you can save them my Lord. You can remove the scales from their eyes, and you can rip the veil from their hearts. You can save them from the bondage of the flesh and you can grant them all mercy and forgive them of their sins. I pray that your people can find it in themselves to humble themselves and turn back to you my Lord, and accept the salvation you offer.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves those who love mercy, do justly, and walk humbly with Him.
