Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world.  Thank you for blessing me with the strength and wisdom to follow your word.  Thank you for keeping me on your path, for protecting me from evil and for removing temptation from my life.  Thank you for your mercy and for forgiving me my transgressions.  Thank you for placing mercy in my heart so I may be generous with it in abundance.  Thank you for the revelations you give me when reading your word, your wonders are amazing.

Thank you for blessing me with a family that shows their love for each other every day.  Thank you for bringing Kim into my life, she is a blessing from your heart to mine.  Thank you for blessing me with three wonderful sons who are kind, considerate, and know how to share your light.  I am so humbled by the attention you have shown me, for I am so undeserving.  But your mercies are never ending and that is why it is my desire to always be merciful.

Thank you for loving me so much that you gave us your only begotten son, for sacrificing him so that I may have eternal life.  Thank you for sending Yeshua to be our Shepherd, to gather us from the nations so we may come before you and live in your land flowing with milk and honey.  Thank you Yeshua for your rulership of righteousness, for leading us in truth and in fairness.  Thank you for your protection and your example.  Thank you for suffering for me, and teaching me how to treat others.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
