Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word; and I pray that every thought I think, every word I speak, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name. I pray that I am better to my fellow man today than I was yesterday, and that I never lose sight of your face. Father, please keep evil away from me, my family and my home. Please remove temptation from our lives, and grant us a heart filled with mercy, so that we may spread it wherever we go.
Father, I pray for the people of this planet who do not know you. I pray that somehow you touch them, you grant them a glimpse of your love, and your grace so that they realize how much better life is when you value it. I pray that they realize the peace that your love can bring, I ask that you give them the ambition to want want to live in your kingdom. For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and you are our salvation. I pray you bring your chosen ones to your narrow path, and lead them through the narrow gate. If just one soul is saved through this prayer, then the world has become a better place.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who turns the hearts of the faithless and grants them mercy.
