Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world.  Father, I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word; I pray that every thought I think, every word I speak, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name.  I ask, if it be your will, that you continue to keep your hedge of protection over me, my family, and my home.  I pray that you keep evil far from us and that you remove temptation from our lives.  Father, may your Spirit be with us always, and may you never remove your face from before our eyes.

Father, thank you for looking after Alex and blessing him with his new job.  I pray that he can find happiness in his work, and that you lead him on a path of your truth and your righteousness.  Thank you for bringing Marco into our lives and I pray that you will reveal to him those things you want him to know, and that you can work through us to help him learn and understand your word.  I pray that you open the heart of his wife and children so that they may see your truth, and place his whole family on the path you have set for him.  Your glory and grace is always at work, and you call those to you whom you have in your heart to call.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who gathers His people together in the land that He has promised.
