Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world.  I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk your word and spread your love; I pray that every thought I think, every word I speak, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name.  Thank you for protecting us during the storm yesterday, your goodness is unsearchable and I am so grateful for you in my life.

Father, I pray that others can see the goodness in you.  I am so saddened that I have to witness what it's like to live in a nation that has turned their back on you.  I just can't believe that people who don't believe in you are so adamant to turn those who do believe, away from you.  This is the work of the Adversary himself.  He is the great divider and he is the one whose works are dominant in our land.  Father, please place your hedge of protection over this land once again, and drive the enemy away.  Lay low the wicked and remove the unrighteous from power so that the people may once again rejoice in your love and in your glory.  You are the creator of all and our salvation lies through you.  You appointed your Son as our King, and it's time for Him to come and rescue us from the darkness covering our land.  Father, please open the hearts of the people, remove the scales from their eyes, and let every person say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."

Blessed are you O Lord our God who tells us that blessings come from following Him, and curses come from turning our backs on Him.
