Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, thank you for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Thank you for granting me the wisdom and strength to walk your word this week. Thank you for forgiving me when I stumble. Thank you for this wonderful gift of life, and for gracing me with your Holy Spirit to lead me on your narrow path. Thank you for listening to my prayers and for gathering your lost sheep from across the world.
Thank you for your gift of Torah. Your Torah is your truth and our instrument for gaining understanding of you and your love. You blessed us with this gift so we may find our way back to you, and you gave us your Son so that we may return into covenant with you. Thank you for sending us our Messiah so that the debt of our sins would be born by him. Thank you Yeshua for suffering on my account. Thank you for all your mercies and all your love, and thank you for delivering us from bondage with your mighty hand.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who gave us this Sabbath day for us to remember Him, and His Son who reigns over us, and so that we may have this day of peace.
