Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. I pray that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk by your word - your truth. I pray that every thought I think, every word I speak, and every action I take brings glory and honor to your name. Father, I ask that you keep your protection over me, my family, and my home - that you drive evil far from us and keep temptation away. I ask that you continue to bless us with your presence in our home and that your love remains in our hearts. Father, please do not remove your face from before us and continue to grace us with your mercies all the days of our lives.
Father, I pray for the families, and the souls of the victims who are murdered every day in this world. We must surely be living in the times that are like the days of Noah, like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. The people have forgotten you, they have forgotten your face, and they are losing hope. Father, only you can save this world, for salvation is through you. I beg you perform your wonders and lay low the wicked. I pray you remove the evil from our rulers and let the people rejoice in your love. You said that you didn't want anyone but you to rule over us, and now the people know why - the rulers of the world are corrupt. They are not of the righteous and the people are groaning, just as you said. Please Father, let righteousness rule the land once again. Lay low the wicked and raise up the righteous and let the people once again see the goodness and love that is within you. Have mercy on us my Lord and save us from the evil in the land.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves His people with a mighty hand and tender mercies.
