Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day of the anniversary of our independence from England.  Thank you for breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and for another chance to be your light to the world.  I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word, your truth, and your name.  Father, may every thought I think, every word I utter and every action I take bring honor and glory to your name.

Father, I pray for the revelation of your word.  I ask that you guide me in the knowledge and wisdom of your word, and speak the words of your truth through me so that I may help others see your truth.  I ask that you open the hearts of your chosen children and draw them close to you.  I beg you set your hedge of protection over them and bring them to the peace of your covenant.  I ask that you let your light shine brightly in all our hearts and that your love, your mercy, your forgiveness flow through us heal this world with your peace.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who spreads His love across the earth through His people Israel.
