Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk your word; I pray that every thought I think, every word I utter, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name. Father, may you never remove your face from in front of me, and may your light shine brightly in my soul, and your Spirit lead me to your garden.
Father, I ask that you execute your judgment with mercy and kindness. Please make your destruction swift and then lay low the wicked, for you have raised them up only so they may be destroyed forever. I pray you close our ears to the sins of the world, to the gossip, to the negative words, of those who are trying to move us off your path. Please keep our feet steady and lead us on your narrow road. Please make our crooked paths strait and be with us all our days.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who grants us the wisdom to walk in His righteousness.
