Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Thank you for protecting us throughout the week, for keeping evil out of our lives and for removing temptation. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit and for all the mercies you give me, and for all your love you put in my heart.
Thank you for the gift of your Torah and the Testimony of your son Yeshua. The two of them are my tree of life, and I have been granted a blessed life because of them. Thank you for loving me so much that you gave me Yeshua so that I may live, and not die in my sins. Thank you for granting me a heart filled with love, mercy, justice and peace.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who gives us this Sabbath day because it is on this day that He rested from all the work which He had done.
