Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. I pray that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread you love. Please grant me a forgiving heart and help me to be more understanding and compassionate to other people. Please continue to protect me, my family, and my home from the evil of this world and remove temptation from my life.
Father, please help me overcome this illness and let this swelling ease in my throat. Please erase this ill feeling and ease my discomfort, but if you don't I still know that my comfort rests in you my God. You are the glory that produces the light within me, and you are my comfort. Thank you for being there for me my Lord.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who brings comfort and peace to His people.
