Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word, and to build a house where your spirit will always abide. I pray that you protect me from the evil of the Enemy and of this world, I pray that you remove temptation from my life. Father, please forgive me my transgressions, and place in me a forgiving heart so that I may also forgive those who have trespassed against me.
Father, please answer the prayers of your children, and have mercy upon the world. Evil has taken a foothold in our world, and every day it seems as if people are turning further away from your face. They have forgotten the glory of your Spirit, and have neglected the wisdom of your truth. Every man is doing what is right in his own eye, and the world has become blind to your majesty. But your greatness is unsearchable, and your wonders are mighty. You are my salvation, and through you all things are possible. I beg you Father to deliver us from evil and to bring us safely in your arms so we may dwell in your kingdom for ever and ever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves His people with a mighty hand.
