Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love, and to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I pray that you continue your hedge of protection over me, my family, and my home. I pray that there is no evil in my life, and I pray that you grant me mercy and keep temptation far away. I ask that you grant me a heart filled with mercy so that I may have a forgiving heart. Thank you for loving me so much that you have given us your only son who paid the debt of my sin so I may once again see your face and live in your Kingdom forever.
Father, please let your will reign on this land. No matter which politicians win this election, may it be your rulership that I follow. May your will be done here in this country, and may your judgments be fair, quick, and merciful. May you bring the people of this land to your covenant and may you be leader that they turn to. You are glorious and you are merciful. May your grace always be upon us.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who is our true King and who grants us His grace and His mercy.
