Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to share your love.
Father, I don't want to interrupt your rest, but please, if you can show me just a little attention and relieve me of this discomfort. Please heal me quickly and completely from this swollen gland. Please help me Father, my faith lies with you.
Thank you for loving me so much that you gave us your son so that I may live in your glory. Thank you for providing us our King and for opening my heart to him and his teachings, for his teachings are your teachings and all your wisdom is for our benefit.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
