Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to be your light. I pray that you protect me, my family and my home from the evil of this world, and to remove temptation from our lives. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit and for leading me to your shalom, and your kingdom - for your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and I pray that I may dwell there all the days of my life. Thank you for redeeming me through the sacrifice of your son so that we may once again be in covenant with you. Thank you for placing mercy in my heart so that forgiveness is always on the tip of my tongue.
Father, please forgive me for the haughtiness that has been within me all these years. Please turn my heart to you and keep my mind focused on you, and your spirit, and move me away from those things of the flesh. I submit my spirit to you and recognize that all that is going on in this world, even the wickedness is from you. You have set your events in motion, and your judgment flows throughout the land. I accept your judgment and ask that you gather us together in the safety of your arms so that we may be children of your promise. May my faith never waiver in your sight, and may you never remove your face from before me.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the heavens, the earth and all their array for His pleasure.
