Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your glorious and Holy name be praised throughout the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and for one more chance to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word, your truth, and your righteousness. I pray that I honor your name today and be a beacon of your light to spread your love. Thank you for looking over Alex by providing for him a job, and for helping him grow as a young man. I ask that you continue to keep your hedge of protection over me, my family, and my home keeping evil out of our lives and driving temptation away. Thank you for your mercy and for the gift of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for leading me along your straight path and keeping the waters of my life still and full of shalom.
Father, please be merciful to your children who have departed from your ways. They have not had their eyes open to your glory and they are simple. They follow the ways of this world because they are more concerned with themselves than with others. They want to continue in the ways of the flesh without the benefit of your spirit. But they do this out of ignorance, my Lord. They do not know any better, and the only solution for that is for your miracles to descend upon us. Please Father, save us from the evil that rules this world. Save us from the ignorance that our youth have learned, and save us from our pride. Father, our hope is in you, and I pray for your deliverance.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who delivers His people from bondage to freedom, from sin to righteousness, from death to life.
