Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I ask that you place in me a forgiving heart so that I may be as merciful to others as you have been with me. Please continue to guide my path and remove all evil from it, please do not remove your face from before me, and lead me beside your still waters. May your Holy Spirit guide every step I take and may all glory in this world be yours.
Father, please place your hedge of protection over this country. Unite us under you my Lord, and help the people remember that we are only here in this world by your good grace. It is through you that all things are possible and without you, the world is nothing but chaos. Please stay with us, and protect us with your mighty arm. Lead us into salvation and restore peace to our spirit.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who brings peace to the world.
