Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. Please place in me a forgiving heart so that I may be merciful to others as freely as you have been merciful towards me. Father, I pray that you protect me, my family, and my home from the evil that walks in this world, and that you drive any and all evil thoughts and actions far from us and guide us along your righteous path filled with peace.
Father, I humbly ask that you watch over my son today as he begins his new journey at his new job. May you guide his tongue so that his words are pleasant and clear. May you guide his hands so that his actions perform the job required of him, and my you guide his thoughts to make his experience a happy one full of hope and purpose. Father, I pray that you bless him and keep him, may your face shine on him, and may you be gracious to him, may you lift your face up to him and bring him peace. I pray this in Yeshua's name.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who watches over His children and guides them in His righteousness.
