Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please Father, I beg you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I pray you grant me a heart filled with forgiveness so I may merciful to others as you have been to me. Please place within me compassion and empathy to understand the suffering of others, and through your grace, grant me words of comfort to ease that suffering. Father, I pray that you protect me, my family, and my home from all forms of evil and that the only spirit to abide within our home is your Holy Spirit.
Thank you Father for blessing me with such a wonderful family. A family that is full of love and encouragement. A family who follows you and your word. A family who cares for one another and who are kind and decent people. I am so unworthy of your blessings my Lord, and I am humbled that you have granted me your attention. Please Father, never remove your face from before me, and always lead me beside your still waters. Provide me a place in your Kingdom where your light is the only light that shines.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who delivers us from bondage and provides for us a place in His Kingdom.
