Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. Please grant me a forgiving heart so that I may be as merciful to others as you have been to me. I ask for your patience and guidance during my day today so that I may not stray from your path. I pray that you protect me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world and that your face is never removed from before me. Please make my waters still and my path straight so that I may always walk in your light, your truth, and your love.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who keeps His promises and gathers His people from around the world into His Kingdom.
