Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you Father for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love, please Father, continue to shine your light on me so that I may accomplish those tasks you have set in my path. Father, please provide me a heart filled with mercy so that I may forgive others, just as you have forgiven me. Please bring peace into my heart and free me from the bondage of my flesh. I pray that you mold me into the person you want me to become and provide a home within me where your Holy Spirit may abide. Father, I thank you for the hedge of protection you have placed over me, my family, and my home, and ask that you not remove that hedge so that your love is the only spirit within my home.
Father, please have mercy on this nation and restore your glory within. Please quell the violence in our streets and stop the wickedness that has turned neighbor against neighbor. There is so much poverty in this world, yet the scoffer has come to roost in our midst. Drive away the evil and bring your Kingdom back to this nation. You are the first and the last, and I pray that you continue to deliver your children from the fiery pit of evil that has latched its claws into this nation. Father, our hope lies with you, and our our salvation rests in your hands.
Blessed are you our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who loves his children and who protects them with all his might.
