Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, I ask that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. I pray you place in me a forgiving heart so that I may love mercy as much as you do. Please Father, protect me, my family, and my home from all the evil in this world and shine your light brightly on my path so that I may always walk with you. May you grant me my needs for the day, and may my words and actions come from your spirit alone.
Father, I pray that you watch over our new leadership in this nation. That his heart is drawn to you and that you guide his steps as he brings America back to you. May you bless him and keep him. May your light shine upon him, and may you be gracious to him. May you lift your face up to him and grant him peace. I believe that you place this man as our leader as a chance for us to return to you. I pray that the people's hearts are open and that you remove the scales from their eyes. With your mighty hand you have saved us.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who loves His people and blesses them with His name.
