Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for forgiving me my sins and I humbly ask that you give me a heart to forgive those who sin against me. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. Please continue to protect me, my family, and my home from all the evil in this world and the next. Please grant me this day, all that I need to walk humbly with you and reveal to me those things you wish me to know and to understand. For the Fear of You is the beginning of knowledge and your knowledge leads to your wisdom.
Father, please protect us from the anger that has gone forth in this world. It reminds me of the men in Sodom standing outside the house of Lot, beating down the door and demanding something that is not of you. You destroyed Sodom when this happened, and I pray for your mercy when your judgments come upon our nation. Father, please gather in your children, Israel, and cover them with your protection as you judge the world for their haughtiness and arrogance.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who gathers His children and delivers them from bondage.
