Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been with me. Father, I ask that you never remove your face from before me, and that you guide my steps along the path you have laid out for me. Please let me follow you all the days of my life and help me become a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife, and a better father to my children. May your glory always lead me through the wilderness to your Kingdom.
Father, please heal this nation. I ask for your mercy my God and to ease your judgment on this land. There is so much division that seems to be turning into a civil war. The only thing that stands in the way of that darkness is your light. Father, I ask that you touch the hearts of those who have lost sight of you, those who have strayed down the path of the immoral woman. Please, touch them so that they can remember who you are and the might with which you delivered your children from the bondage of Egypt. Please deliver your children again and open their eyes to your miracles which are with us daily. Your grace and your mercy will bring peace to our land and our souls, for our hope rests in you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who reaches out and saves his people.
