Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and bringing me into covenant with you. Thank you for the gift of your Torah, and for the gift of redemption through your son, Yeshua our Messiah. Your grace and your mercy rain down on us like a storm. Your love provides us the light in our heart. Your Holy Spirit places your words in our hearts and our minds. Your wisdom was the first of your creations, and through that you have created all. Yet, with all that you have done, you still have time to lift up my spirit, to love me - a creation in your own image. Your love teaches me how to love, and I am so grateful to you for that gift.
Father, your glory fills the world. I see your miracles all around everywhere I go. Each of us who walk on this planet is one of your miracles, a creation of your doing. You have set us on our course and you place your love within each and everyone of us. But some have closed off that love by closing off their heart, and according to your wisdom, that is of your doing too. Father, everything you do you do in your time, and it is a blessing to me to have that understanding. That blessing is also from you. Thank you for your love my Lord, and thank you for your light.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
