14 Tammuz 5777

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Thank you for blessing me with the opportunity to walk in your word and the ability to show your love.  Father, thank you for blessing me with patience and mercy, and thank you for showing me how to forgive.   Thank you for forgiving me, and granting me a place in your kingdom.  Thank you for loving me so much that you redeemed me with the life of your own son.   Father, I am so unworthy to have that much love shown to me.  I am so thankful for all your grace and mercy, and I am so thankful for your love and attention.

Father, you have blessed me so much with my family.  You have placed your spirit in the hearts of all our children to spend Shabbat with us.  You guided our thoughts and actions, and made us a light to our children.  Father, you have brought them from a place of defiance to the warm glow of your light.  I am so thankful for your grace and mercy to allow me such happiness in my life.  You truly are the One Living God.

Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.

Amen!
