Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving and patient with others just as you are forgiving and patient with me.  Father, please never remove your face from before me, please continue to guide me along the path to your Kingdom, and guard my steps from evil.  Father, please protect me, my family, and my home from all the evil in this world and above all, give us the ability to make our home filled with peace, and make it a place where your spirit will always abide.

Father, 9 years ago today you brought Kim into my life.  You directed her steps into the Synagogue and bonded her and I for life.  Today, 8 years ago, you blessed the two of through the act of marriage.  We are bound in your love and your grace.  Father, you have blessed us so much and you are a constant presence in our life.  With you at the center of our marriage there is no evil that can pass through our doors.  You have brought 2 together as one flesh and in us, you have made a new creation.  I cannot express my gratitude enough to you my Lord, so I will just say thank you.  May your glory and your grace reign forever in the heavens above and on the earth below.  With you all things are truly possible.

Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who created the heavens and the earth and all that is within.
