Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Father, you have blessed me with such a wonderful family and a wonderful life, I am so grateful for all your grace and mercy and for leading me to your kingdom.
Father, I pray for your protection over your children, Israel. You have chosen the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as your special treasure. You have set us apart from the nations of the world to be priests to you, to be your light in this world. Father, you blessed your people Israel by delivering us from bondage in Egypt, gave us your Torah, and led us into the land you promised, a land flowing with milk and honey. You have removed nations from before us, parted the Suf and the Yarden so that we could cross on dry land. You gave us your son as our Redeemer so that the debts of our sins have been wiped clean. You placed your covenant in our hearts and blessed us with your spirit. Father, how can anyone deny your grace, your mercy, or your love for your children? Please Father, never remove your face, your love, your protection, or your spirit from our presence. May you always walk before us and shine your light brightly so we will always walk securely in your way, in your truth, and in your life.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who chose his people Israel as his special treasure.
