Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please guide my steps along the path to your Kingdom, and I pray with all my heart, that you never remove your face from before me, and that you are always there to protect me, my family, and my home from all the evil in this world.
Father, please forgive your people who have turned away from you and from the land you gave to our ancestors. They have lost sight of your spirit and your glory. Even in the desert after all your wonders, you still went before your people in a column of smoke by day, and a column of fire by night. Your chosen ones saw you daily and yet they still didn't believe. You made them suffer for their unbelief and they died in the desert never living in the land you promised. But you didn't destroy their name, and their decedents inherited the land instead, but your promise was kept as it always is. Father, the time for turning away from you has passed, and now it is time to turn towards you. Please my God, open the hearts of your children and let their knees bend to you. Remove their sins from them and rip the veil from their hearts. Let everyone recognize you as their King and their Salvation and forgive them. Father, may your glory reign forever and may you bring peace to all the nations in this world.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who leads his people to his Kingdom.
