Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others as you have been forgiving with me. May you never remove your face from before me, and may all my steps be taken on the path that you have set out for my life. Please don't abandon me in my hour of need, and please accept my praises when I give honor to your glory. You are the first and you are the last, you are our salvation and our deliverer.
Father, please remove your curses from this nation and drive the evil out of our borders. I beg that you bring peace to our land and that you heal the division our nation has been in for the past few decades. Surely the Adversary has taken root in our land and has driven your children away from you. He has made our nation into that of the likes of Sodom and Gomorrah. The people act as in the days of Noah, taking what they want, committing sexual immorality and following other gods. But you my Lord, can end this lunacy once and for all. You can judge this nation and sentence the scoffer to the pit. You can forgive those who are caught up in the perversity of others and you can save them and deliver them from evil. You can stretch out your arm and pluck the unrighteous from the power they hold in our government and you can bring us back to a nation dedicated to you and all your glory. Please help us Father, and set us free.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who delivers his people and sets them free.
