Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please guide me along your path and teach me to be a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife, and a better father to my children. I beg of you my Lord, that you never remove your face from before me and that you continue to protect me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world and the next. You are our salvation and our deliverer. You brought us out of the land of Egypt so that you can be our God and we can be your people. Please stay firmly rooted in my heart and let your love shine always in my soul.
Father, please help this nation. Our government has been corrupted by the Enemy and those who have been chosen to lead us have let us down once again. They continue to prove that they do what's best for themselves and not for the people they are supposed to represent. I've previously asked for you blessings on this and now we need them more than ever. Father, please bless our leaders with your wisdom, your compassion, and your love. Lead them to your righteousness and set this nation aright. Please Father, with you all things are possible.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of our ancestors who blesses those who follow his commands, his statutes, and his judgments.
