Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love, and thank you for forgiving me when I misstep. Thank you for providing me an occupation to support my family and to care for others. Thank you for the opportunities you have blessed me with and the ability to see this beautiful world that you have created.
Father, your glory gives light to my soul. You are full of grace and mercy, your patience lasts forever. You keep to all your promises and your love lives in our hearts. Thank you for calling me to your covenant, and into my relationship with you. Thank you for shining your light on me, and opening your Torah to me. Your revelations bring peace to my soul and my spirit rests on your love. Thank you for delivering me from darkness into light, and blessing me with your presence.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, our Father in Heaven, who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
