Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be as forgiving with others as you have been with me. Please, my Lord, never remove your face from before, and guide my steps along the course you have set me on. Please help me become a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife, and a better father to my children. Your glory is my light and you are a beacon to all righteousness and all blessings. Please remove my enemies from before me and grant me a life filled with your peace.
Father, please cleanse my spirit from the sin of this world. Please wash me anew and grant me a new life in your spirit. I pray that you hear my voice and you comfort me in your arms. I ask that you watch over my family and keep them safe when I no longer am walking this miracle world you created. I pray that you bless them for a thousand generations so that they may always walk in your way, in your truth, and in your life. Please take notice of them and don't allow their feet to turn to the right or the left, but keep them on your narrow path and prepare a place for them in your Kingdom. Father, I pray that your glory reigns forever and that all in heaven and on earth bend their knees to you and proclaim you as their one true God.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the heavens and the earth and all that is contained within.
