3 Tishrei 5778

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath Day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Thank you for blessing me with the wisdom and the strength to walk in your word and to show your love.  Thank you for blessing me with a heart of mercy and for allowing me to be a forgiving person.  Thank you for revealing to me the truth of your word and the testimony of Yeshua.  Thank you for saving me from the path of sin that was my old self.  Thank you for making me new person in your spirit.  Thank you for looking kindly on me and for guiding my steps on the path you have set, and I am so grateful that you are the root of my being.

Father, I am so grateful for all the gifts you have blessed me with.  Thank you for the gift of your Torah, it is my guiding light and the story of my salvation.  Thank you for redeeming me from the penalty of my sin, for bringing me back to living life in the spirit.  You have truly blessed me with peace.  Thank you for blessing me with a family who is full of love, and who are all kind and decent human beings.  You have truly blessed me with love.  Thank you for blessing me with a mind that can think logically and can understand the revelations you provide me.  You have truly blessed me with truth.  Thank you for providing me with a long established career that has provided the food and shelter for my family, and has allowed us to travel this great big beautiful world you have created.  You have truly blessed me with prosperity.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath Day.

Amen!
