Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving to me. I pray with all my heart that you never remove your face from before me, that my faith in you is rooted down to the core of my soul forever. Father, you mercy and your grace are unsearchable, your greatness rules the heavens above and the earth below, we are your footstool.
Father, please continue to provide comfort and aid to those who have been so severely affected by the hurricanes in Texas, the Caribbean, and Florida. Please grant them peace, comfort, a place to lay their head and food in their stomachs. Please don't abandon those who need you most my Lord, for we are all your children who walk on this planet. I pray for the day my Lord when every knee will bend to you, when every person will raise their eyes and declare, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD." Truly, that will be a day of overwhelming joy.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who brings comfort to those in need.
