Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Father, please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. I beg my Lord that you never remove your face from before me, please keep my feet from moving to the right or the left and grant me a place in your Kingdom.
Father, please cleanse my soul of any unclean spirit. I pray that my soul is only filled with the spirits that come from you, filled with love, peace, joy, patience, and wisdom. Please grant me the humbleness of my soul so that I never forget that I am just a blade of grass that withers and dies. My life is but a brief flash in the grand expanse of time. But through your grace and mercy, my God, you have blessed me with eternal life in your Kingdom. That joy alone, indeed is enough to drive away any unclean spirits. Your joy fills my heart, and may your grace rain down on us forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who reminds us that he is the Potter and we are the clay.
