Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Please guide my steps along your narrow path and lead me to your Kingdom.  Father, please never remove your face from before me and continue to protect me, my family, and my home from the evil that runs rampant in this world.

Father, please take notice of your children and open their hearts to your love, your grace and your power.  Open them up to the salvation that awaits them if they only open their eyes and choose life.  I am saddened that there are so many of your children out there who don't recognize you as their God, their Heavenly Father.  They believe that they are the creators, and have lost sight of your face.  Father, please have mercy on them and open them up to your beauty and wondrous works.  Let them see that humanity has not died, but can be revived with belief, faith, and trust in you.  Father, pride has taken root in your people and that has led them astray.  People care about others, right up until Satan himself turns their attention to what he believes we should be focused on.  My attention, however, is on you my Lord; for you are the one who saves.  You are the one who creates.  You are the one who protects.  You are the one who truly loves us, your children.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who calls his children from the four corners of the earth and brings back to the land that you have established.
