Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been with me.  Father, I beg you to place a hedge of protection around my family to keep evil and death away from them.  Please keep my mother and sister safe in the mighty storm you have sent their way.  I ask that your storm passes over them as if they are sitting in your Kingdom away from the tribulation in this world.

Father, I please comfort all the people who have lost everything they have, or have been injured in all the tribulation you have sent forth.  Please have mercy on them and ease their suffering.  I pray with all my heart that every single one of your children lift their eyes up to you and search you out for help during their time of trouble.  You are our One true living God who created the heavens and the earth and all that is within.  You are the one who provides all we need to live in your creation.  You are the one who blesses and you are the one who curses.  Vengeance belongs to you my Lord and through you all will be fulfilled.  You delivered your people, your special treasure, from the evil of bondage and set them free, guided them to a land that they did not sow, a land flowing with milk and honey.  Your mercy in unstoppable and your grace is ever lasting.

Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who protects His children from the evil of the world.
