Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for bringing me back to you and allowing me to be a little spark of light in someone else's life. Your graciousness is beyond compare, and your love is a beacon to our hearts. Thank you for being there for us and for always keeping your promises.
Father, you led us from bondage in Egypt and delivered us to the land of your promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. You gave us freedom in your Torah and taught us how to be a light. You then delivered us from sin and through the miracle of your son freed us from that sin. Father, your mercy is never ending. Thank you for opening my heart to your love. Thank you for drawing my soul to your spirit. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your covenant, and a place in your Kingdom. Your love lasts forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
