Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for filling my heart with mercy, and for forgiving me all my sins. Father, I am so grateful for the bread you grant me daily, and for protecting me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world. I am so blessed to be able to view your glory daily, and for the peace you bring to my heart.
In six days you created the heavens above and the earth below, and all that is contained within. And on the seventh day you rested because of the work which you have done. And you blessed the Sabbath day and declared it holy because on that day you rested from all the work which you have done. Father, may I honor you on this Sabbath day, and all days of my life. Thank you for the gift of your covenant, one that has been written in my heart and which leads me to show your love.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
