Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please help me become a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife, a better father to my children, and a better friend to my neighbors. Thank you for blessing me with a life filled with your peace and your protection, for keeping the evil out of our lives and letting your glory abide among us. Your grace is great, and your mercies are never ending. Father, thank you for being in my life and for leading me along the path you have set before me, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left. You fill my heart with your light and may I always have the wisdom to be led by your spirit.
Father, please heal those who are suffering around this world. There are so many people who have spiritual and physical pain and they are not turning to you. But you, you can open their eyes to your wonders and miracles. You can heal with one breath from your mouth, and in so doing, ease the pain and suffering of so many people. Father, you can save those who need your help the most, therefore I pray that you intercede on their behalf. Thank you for all your kind mercies my God, for healing the sick and feeding the hungry. Thank you for the hope you give to so many, and for taking your time to help and listen to your children. Father, I pray that you remove the evil from this earth and let your light, your glory, and your love be our source of goodness all the days of our lives.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who brings light to the darkness and drives evil from this world.
