Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. I pray that all my scales are balanced and my weights are measured so that my judgments are fair and balanced. I ask with all my heart that you continue to guide my steps along the path you have set, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left. Father, your glory leads my way in a pillar of smoke during the day and a pillar of fire by night. May your will be done here on earth just as it is in heaven.
Father, please continue to search out your children and rip the veils over their hearts. Please my God, let your light cut through the darkness in the souls of the wicked. How joyous it is to see the darkness turn to light in the souls of your people. How happy it is to a soul turn towards you. Father, you are our light and our blessings. May all we do bring honor and glory to your name. You are our fortress and our strength. You are the way, the truth, and the life. Through you all things are possible. Father, thank you for knocking on my door, and for granting me the wisdom to open it.
