Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. May I always be forgiving with others and be generous with my mercy just as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Father, may all my weights be balanced and all my measures accurate, may all my judgments be righteous and filled with wisdom. Father, I pray that your glory leads my path and that I continue to follow your light, never turning to the right or the left. Thank you for saving me from the trappings of this world and granting me the wisdom to provide a peaceful home where your spirit may always abide.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who brings peace and love into our hearts and our homes.
